Difficulty
Combat in GTS is Blade and Blunt's. The difficulty you pick in the game's settings changes how hard your hits land and how hard you're hit:
| Difficulty | Damage you deal | Damage you take |
|---|---|---|
| Novice | ×1.25 | ×0.75 |
| Apprentice | ×1 | ×1 |
| Adept | ×1 | ×1.5 |
| Expert | ×0.8 | ×2 |
| Master | ×0.6 | ×3 |
| Legendary | ×0.4 | ×4 |
Blade and Blunt's menu has a level-based difficulty option: then these numbers change as you level, instead of staying as they are here. It starts off.
What every enemy gets
Blade and Blunt gives every person and creature in the world a perk that makes openings count. They hit you 50% harder (weapons, critical hits, and Destruction, poison, sun and shout damage alike) while you're:
- power attacking, casting a spell, staggered or knocked down (not while you hold a ward up),
- drawing a bow or crossbow,
- sneaking.
The first two don't count against the biggest foes: dragons, giants, lurkers, Dwarven Centurions and mammoths.
Blocking, stamina and armour
Blade and Blunt sets these itself while the game runs (its own program sets the armour cap, how armour rating counts, and what blocking and attacks cost), so the numbers in its plugin aren't the rule. This page doesn't guess them.
From base GTS 118's own files: the game settings as the last plugin sets them, Blade and Blunt's scripts and its list of perks for every NPC, read when this page is built. Your own add-ons can change any of this; they aren't counted here.
