The grotto's door only opens with the Abandoned Grotto Key, which two Khajiit carry: Ri'Suen-dar and Mhiir-do, the pair you meet in Inglourious Khajiits. That quest ends with you killing them, so take the key from either body. The records count it as the Pale, but its door is in the mountains south-west of Ironskull Mine, between Whiterun Hold and the Rift. GTS moved it there; its map pin shows the real spot.

  • V97 Carved Brink gets GTS’ed, too: The Door to the Abandoned Grotto works again for followers, and the initial scene with the Khajiit will work correctly.
  • V93 Map Marker Doing a John Travolta Meme: The Abandoned Grotto was moved in the previous version since it was needed for the bandit expansion mod, however… it seems they forgot to move the map marker, and it remained where it used to be, despite the cave not being there lol. Fixed by Gira.
